One-hour studio session: $370

Your studio session includes a pre-session consultation, wardrobe guidance, one or two looks, posing and expression direction,

Individual Headshots at My Bethesda Studio
For Washington, DC professionals who need an updated portrait, individual sessions take place at my Bethesda studio by appointment. We’ll prepare beforehand, work through one or two wardrobe looks, and review photographs together during the session.
You’ll have guidance throughout, with time to discuss what feels right and make adjustments.

Is your studio in Washington, DC?
My studio is in Bethesda, Maryland, and individual sessions are by appointment. I’ll provide the studio details when we arrange your visit. On-site team headshots are also available at your Washington, DC office.
How much does a headshot session cost?
A one-hour studio session is $370. Retouched images are purchased separately at $110 each, bringing your session and one finished image to $480.
What’s included in the session fee?
Your session includes up to one hour of studio photography, one or two wardrobe looks, a pre-session consultation, wardrobe and presentation guidance, posing and expression direction, live image review, and a private proof gallery. Retouched images are purchased separately.
What should I wear?
We’ll discuss wardrobe before your session, considering your profession, personal style, and where your headshot will appear. Bring one or two looks that fit well and feel appropriate for your work. Wardrobe and presentation guidance is included, so you don’t have to make every decision alone.
Do you offer makeup or additional styling help?
Professional makeup can be arranged, subject to artist availability, with rates starting at $300. Basic wardrobe guidance is included in your session; a more detailed wardrobe and styling consultation is available separately for $100. We can discuss which options would be helpful before you book.
I feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely. You don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose or smile on command. Before your session, we’ll discuss your goals and anything that makes you uncomfortable about being photographed. During the shoot, I’ll guide your posture and expression, and we’ll review photographs together so you can share feedback and see what’s working.
How many finished images do I receive?
You choose how many finished images to purchase from your private proof gallery. Each selected image is $110, in addition to the session fee, and includes professional retouching plus high-resolution and web-ready files.
How soon will I receive my images?
You’ll receive your private proof gallery within two to three days after your session. Once you select your favorites, I’ll professionally retouch and deliver your finished images as high-resolution and web-ready JPEG downloads within five days.
If you have a deadline for a website launch, speaking engagement, or press announcement, mention it before booking so we can confirm whether we can meet it.
What is cancelation and deposit policy?
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before your appointment receive a full refund of the session deposit. For cancellations made less than 72 hours before your appointment, 50% of the session deposit will be refunded.
